New Year...New Look...New Website

2011 was a great year for me both personally and professionally.  I made decisions that were right for me and took a leap of faith.  Lot's of growth, lots of changes...and tons of eye opening experiences played a huge roll in how my year wrapped up.

As my business continues to grow, my portfolio gets bigger, images stronger.  To reflect my growth, I decided it was time to update my presentation - my online storefront.  The transition from old to new was relatively painless (technically).  I am embracing 2012 and ready to challenge myself in ways that exceed last years goals (and following through with the ones that were unmet - but don't tell anyone).

Thank you so much for your support!  2011 was pretty amazing, but 2012 is going to be even better!  I can just feel it.

Family Portrait Session Re-Cap....We Are Family

SUMMER.

This is Part I of a III Part series that I will be posting over the next few weeks (maybe months).

I photographed nearly 50 families and couples, so you could imagine how many photos I would love to share.  Your computer would hate me if I did it in one post.  So as we move quickly through fall and into the holiday season, I thought I'd share.

Much of my summer was spent down in the South Bay (Manhattan Beach Pier to be specific) and around town at one of my local favorites - Travel Town.  Actually...there will be a bigger blog post on many of these in the future. There is so much more to these than just one frame.  Many of the locations of these shoots were spread throughout the Greater Los Angeles area including Pasadena,  Beverly Hills and the Westside.

Thanks to all who booked with me over the summer.  You've keep me quite busy and I've enjoyed every minute of it!

Oh...and those who aren't featured in this post, not to worry...rest assured I will get to you.  I promise ;)

Trinity River - Farm Wedding

ROAD TRIP!

Over the summer I had the opportunity to travel up north to Humboldt County, where I spent four days on the road (the Redwoods are amazing), and two days capturing this loving couple.

Ashley and Seth said 'I Do' at Trinity River Farms, a family owned farm nestled in the mountains of the small town of Willow Creek. The roadside storefront sits along side the beautiful Trinity River.

I'm not sure when I'll have the opportunity to shoot a wedding like this in future...it was the perfect blend nature in the beautiful mountain surroundings. We were all feeling the love.

I was so well taken care of on this trip - thank you so much Seth, Ashley and the entire Stone family for having me.  I truly cherished every moment spent with you and your family.  XO.

Venice Beach Canals - Engagement Session

Steven and Linda.

I don't even know where to begin with this post.  If I could sum it up in just a few words...they would be as follows: LOVE & HAPPINESS. SILLY & ENDEARING. DUCKS & CANOES. WALK LIKE AN EGYPTIAN & CHICKEN DANCE.

When Linda and Steve showed up to their engagement session holding hands, giggling and laughing as if I had a sign that said "kick-me," I knew that I was about to have one of the funnest sessions ever. Seriously...I've never asked a couple to walk like and egyptian let alone do the chicken dance for me.  Both were up for the ridiculous task and did so as if nobody was watching.

Thank you so much Linda & Steve...you guys were amazing to work with and I can't wait to work with you again....happy love.
